# My Nuxt Journey

Published on 2025-07-19 - Version 1.1

This story is about a stack change and how [Nuxt](https://nuxt.com) became my daily tool.

I want to share something I've rarely shared online. Since Nuxt 4 is out I noticed some " [nuxtmance](https://bsky.app/profile/chri.so/post/3lu2qn5lza223)" is going on. I was asked to share mine. So, here it is.

My first contact with Nuxt was in 2022, when Nuxt 3 was in its beta phase. And yes, I am the the person who has been pleased with using the Composition API since its introduction. We started a project called "Academy Portal", our own solution for our online academy called Future Leadership.

You can read more about it in the State of Vue Report 2025: ["From SaaS to (a) custom solution for the Academy Portal"](https://stateofvue.framer.website/#chapter-5)

At the time, in November 2022, I was able to work with [Alexander Lichter](https://www.lichter.io) from the Nuxt core team. He was instrumental in helping us to build a robust, fast, and scalable application, ensuring that we did things right. Later on, in March 2023, [Thorsten Seyschab](https://todde.tv) joined the freelancing team as well. And I got another perspective of "how a project should be set up" and I got deep into Nuxt modules.

As the Engineering Manager at intrinisfy, I set a starting point. We extend the current, mostly WordPress and tool-based tech stack to a business solution that fits. My colleagues and I noticed a 70% drop in support needs after launching our custom solution. Our stack change started.

In 2024, I had the opportunity to attend Vue.js Amsterdam. And this is where I truly noticed the "Nuxt Community". Listening to and meeting the people who craft the software I use daily was such an incredible experience. The people from the Nuxt Core team, who introduced me to the idea of the UnJS ecosystem, helped me understand what "nuxtmance" really is. There's a lot more to be hyped about with every update or release (And I am hyped!). This is OSS at a glance, and I am thrilled and impressed with everything that has been created around it, with more to come.

So, finally, a "nuxtmance" moment on [Vue.js Amsterdam](https://vuejs.amsterdam):

Today? Nuxt is my daily tool, and I'm currently amid a major relaunch (combining two Elementor sites) to an Nuxt/Storyblok setup, which will be launched in spring 2026. This will be the tipping point of changing our stack to a powerful, TypeScript-based solution.

As a Nuxt User, a big thanks to the [team](https://nuxt.com/team) and contributors for this tool and the power you put into this. Since NuxtLabs has been acquired by Vercel, I am even more excited to see Nuxt grow. May this journey have a bright future.

Thanks for reading, and Happy Coding, everyone.

*Christopher*

P.S.: As you may have noticed, I need a new website. Of course, built with Nuxt- "What else?" ;-)
